DÜSSELDORF PUNK FEST

It all began in the late 70s in Düsseldorf’s „Ratinger Hof“. A legendary punk venue in Western Germany. Two of their regular bands from that period are FEHLFARBEN who are world famous for their blockbuster „Ein Jahr (Es Geht Voran)“ and ÖSTRO430, probably the coolest german all-girl punkband, that toured with FEHLFARBEN back then and gained lotsa popularity.

Also recently the Düsseldorf New Wave & Punk scene developed and some great young bands will open the night. Names will be revealed in a few days!

To complete the concept, VOM RITCHIE, Drummer of „Die Toten Hosen“, who also started their career at Ratinger Hof, will deejay his favourite punk vinyls along with his buddy Frank Popp, another Düsseldorfer, who grew up there with Punk Music.
